I cannot post when I get home because normally, by that time, I'll be too tired to turn on the computer and even if I do, I'll be playing "Spider Solitaire". I feel that it is a challenging game, but dad apparently does not think so, but who cares?
On my way to work today, I had a flurry of images and thoughts run through my head and I want to address all these.
Chivalry. For a few days now, I conclude it is dead, at least in Singapore. Every morning, when I take the MRT to work, I step into a packed train with many young men on the seats and many women, young and old alike, standing. Today, I counted. On a ten seats row, six were men and four were women. Of the people standing in my row, only one is male, the rest females and mind you, I did my count after some people got off and some womenfolk took their seats. Everyone is entitled to sit of course, but I don't know, shouldn't the guys offer? Just as I was thinking to myself that chivalry is dead, I got off the train, tried to get myself on the escalator and accidentally bumped into a guy. I quickly mumbled my apologies and he, very gentlemanly gestured that I should go first. Now, chivalry is not dead after all is it? Until I realised that guy was blonde and not local, so I guess, chivalry is still dead amonst Singaporean men. Before you guys jump to your own defense, please make sure you have substantial evidence because this is indeed what I observed.
Well, I feel good today, although some zits have for some reason decide to surface, but I got to work early and it is such an achievement considering I worked OT last night. I'm going off on the dot and I have my ridiculous shoes on me today. It's going to be a fun day I hope.
