I have another two and a quarter days to go at work before I call it quits for 2007. Comparatively, I seem to have done more last year, turning around an event in four months and undertaking two other projects and assisting in one other. Of course, this year, I have more responsibilities as I was managing two core projects in the company, but I don't feel as accomplished. I guess it is the monotony of the job, yet it is something I learned to live with.

Other aspects of my life didn't go as planned, but I survived. As 2007 comes to an end, I reflect and pray that I take away the lessons learned and remember these lessons well, for if I don't, I run the risk of making the same mistakes and taking the same path over. There is only this many times I can afford to walk down the same downtrodden path.

Things are looking up though. My joy, albeit short-lived will strengthen me for a while, but it suffices. I need a little comfort before I can be strong again. I'll be off on holidays and will be back in 2008, hopefully renewed, recharged and refreshed!
