I woke up at 4.20am today, yes, you read right, 4.20am cos I had a budget flight to catch to Ho Chi Minh City. I've heard so much about Jetstar, I had to try for myself, but imagine the surprise I got when I was treated like a second class citizen =( Entry through channel B to immigration (so as to ensure that your bags do not exceed 7kg). Gates all the way to the end of the terminal and the shock I received when I boarded the plane. Claustrophobia is an understatement. The steward didn't allow me to change seats before take off for safety reasons, so that the plane can balance, but, I found this reasoning pretty amusing. Thankfully, I arrived shortly after.

I spent the whole day walking in HCMC and among some of my buys include a hair clip, an ao dai (the Vietnamese traditional costume) and a tailor made dress at US$35. All in all, an exhausting day, but I'm looking forward to the tunnels tomorrow.
